Technical Commissions

One of the main goals of the WTA is to prepare new findings from research and science as well as practical experience from the fields of building conservation and monument preservation and to make them accessible for practical application. In order to cover this multidisciplinary field sufficiently, eleven technical commissions are currently established in the WTA, which deal with the processing of upcoming questions in the field of building in existing and historic buildings. For this purpose, working groups are formed in the units in order to draft corresponding leaflets and status reports.

Further information on the contents of the technical commissions and their activities can be found on the following pages.
